The Coalition’s Client Services Office will be closed until the State of Emergency is lifted.
CLIENTS CAN STILL ACCESS EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SERVICES BY CALLING 240-446-9649. EMAIL QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS AT INFO@RCEHN.ORG.
The Alan P. Linton individual shelter will continue to operate as normal, on a first come, first serve basis. Those who are utilizing the mail service can also continue to receive mail at the shelter.
The family shelter site has been closed and families have been placed in motels. The emergency family shelter will not be accepting new admissions at this time. If you are in need of family shelter you can contact the case manager at mwilliams@rcehn.org.
All volunteers have been discharged from duties until further notice.
We are currently seeking non-perishable items to support our families who are sheltered in place. Please call 240-578-5158 to arrange dropping these items off at our Resource Center.
- Pouched rice
- Cans of beans, meat, fruit, vegetables, soup
- Powdered milk
- Cereal,
- Oatmeal
- Peanut butter
- Honey
- Jam
- Instant coffee and tea
- Spices and condiments
- Nuts
- Packaged microwave meals
- Snack bars, dried fruit, granola bars
- Children’s liquid Tylenol
- Adult Tylenol
- Paper/plastic plates and plastic cutlery
WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF PROTECTIVE GEAR FOR OUR STAFF.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any outside resource to support that need. Additionally, the following items are the most critical items to get us through the foreseeable future (to donate these items please contact Kavonte Duckett at kduckett@rcehn.org or 301-631-2670, ext. 118):
- Bleach
- Gloves
- Disinfectant Wipes
- Masks
- Snacks
- Bottled Water
